Zoya Cassi is a peachy pink with subdued micro shimmer. It's cute, but the formula is too sheer. I have on about 3 coats and you can still see my smile line.
Zoya Zara is a purple with multi color shimmer. This is a lovely shade, just too sheer. It probably works better with a white-ish base.
Zoya Harley is a shimmery silver cement shade. Very beautiful, ideal for the cooler months. It is the most opaque out of this lot.
Zoya Gaia is a white with light peachy gold shimmer. Gaia was a huge let down - the formula was gloopy and super shreaky.
Zoya polishes haven't lived up to the hype for me. While Zoya has interesting and complex shades, the formulas are hard just too work with.
I know that many of you have tried Zoya polishes, what are your thoughts on this?

ahh i dont like the zoya polishes as much only because i feel it is too translucent for my taste =/

I've had the same reaction to zoya polishes as you have. Streaky, too sheer, too goopy, too hard to work with...although the colors look beautiful, the pay off isn't. I think i'm going to stick to my OPI

I'm afraid these are too translucent and sheer for my taste. I find the application is always so tricky and my right hand usually looks not as nice as the left one. lol

ReplyDeleteI have Zoya Addison and Collette, and love both. Formula is thick, but with 2 coats, perfection. *had Addison on since Wednesday and hardly any wear ;-)

ReplyDeleteI like harley, I am actually getting into the zoya polishes, I have Pandora on my nails now (kind of a purple-pink nude) , although honestly I got it mostly because of the name. I got a Caitlin in my birchbox, and honestly the color didn't thrill me but my favorite Zoya color of all time (so far) is Savita a rich velvet dark matte purple I LOVE it for fall and winter

The Cassi is such a beautiful shade!! The Harley shade also looks very nice too. I haven't tried any Zoya yet, so I'll just have to admire your photos hehe.

ReplyDeleteyeah, zoya polishes have been sort of meh to me. i'm digging deborah lippman polishes of late. :)
ReplyDeleteZoya formulas are hit and miss. When you get a good one, it's REALLY good and lasts ages. I have had a couple of gloopy, streaky ones though.
