Hana Professional Flat Iron From Misikko Review

I was asked to review the HANA 1" inch professional ceramic flat iron with tourmaline. Shipping was very fast and everything was well packaged. They include extras and small goodies with each order. The Hana flat iron came in a nice metal container, travel pouch, and a heat-proof silicone mat.


I received the pink Hana flat iron, it is also available in black. The design  is sleek and light weight. The size and shape is very similar to the GHD 1" flat iron, it's slightly shorter than the GHD. It comes with a 8 feet 360° swivel cord which is really convenient. 


The heat setting ranges between 150-450 and is adjustable via the dial below the on/off switch. It heats up quickly (about 30 seconds) and the LED light will blink when it reaches the selected temperature. The heating plates are ceramic and is safe to use on damp hair. The edges of the plates are curved so you can use it for curling and straightening.


The Hana flat iron works well on my thick, frizzy, and somewhat wavy hair. It tames the frizzes, straightens out the kinks, and makes my hair smooth.

I like this flat iron more than my higher priced T3 straightener. It's easier to maneuver and lighter in comparison. It lacks features such as auto shut-off and universal voltage compared to the GHD, but, that is probably accounted for in the price variance. My verdict is that this is a good flat iron for the price. I would recommend it to those looking for a more wallet friendly alternative to the GHD flat iron.
