Here is the video review on the DiorSnow skincare range. The video covers the White Reveal Lotion #2 Rich (toner), White Reveal Essence (Serum), White Reveal Creme, and White Illuminating Eye Treatment.
I've said this on multiple occasions, but I love Dior's DiorSnow skincare range. It's a whitening range that's widely available in Asia and at limited department stores stateside. I didn't get into a whitening line to lighten my skin in any way, I was looking for something to fade my acne scars. Luckily, it worked. It took about 3 months to see noticeable results but was well worth it.
Just how bad was my acne scaring? I'm sure some have seen or experienced worse. But here's a picture for reference (I even edited it like those ads in Asian magazines for cosmetic surgery or weightloss):

I'm thankful that I was able to rid the scarring. Now, I'm working on maintaining my skin and ridding my under eye dark circles.
Have you experienced acne scarring? What are some of the products that have worked for you?
XOXO, M
having acne - particularly (still) in my young adult years - is awful. it is painful both physically and emotionally. it really dampens my confidence. i couldn't find a skin care rountine that worked for me. so decided to go on the pill and it cleared up my skin completely. would definitely recommend it as an option for girls who have tried everything. i still have to try and maintain it with a great cleanser and moisturiser and will definitely try the DIOR SNOW range.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing mona xo
I've struggled with acne all throughout my teenage years, and I didn't 'grow out of it' as most girls do. Although I didn't break out as much as those years, my breakouts as an adult were due to hormonal issues (I would always experience breakouts around my jaw line/chin area at that time of the month!)
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that has helped keep my skin under control is going on the pill. It has changed my skin entirely; hormonal acne is something I had no control over, regardless of what products I was using. I also swear by the Obaji Cleanziderm system to maintain a clear complexion.
Thank you for this post, Mona! And please, more tutorials haha!!
hi mona~~ i love your photo with the eyes covered - like the ones at the asian dermatology offices~ ;)
ReplyDeleteawww I'm glad scarring are all gone, I actually suffered acne way back in highschool due to hormonal imbalance, but taking photos haven't crossed my mind at that time as I've been sad about it! thanks for sharing yours! I'm sure you inspire a lot to know that they got the chance to get good looking skin!
ReplyDeleteur skin looks great in the video. Now I feel tempted to look into this dior whitening range u recommended! thks mona!
ReplyDeleteI asked at a Dior counter about lotion #1 and was told that it was available only in Canada
ReplyDeletegreat video~
ReplyDeletei've recently had a acne breakout but luckily i've never had any major scarring
either that or the cream that the dermatologist prescribed made me shed all my scars lol
which was not too comfortable ><
I am glad that you have found something to ease your scars. I dont have acne scars what I have is sun damage in the form of extreme freckles. I quite like my freckles these days though.......They didn't warn us African kids about sun damage :( so my entire life until 3 years ago...I NEVER USED SPF ANYTHING!! yikes
ReplyDeleteHi Mona, your skin looks great.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to buy whitining products in the past, but I wasn't very pleased with all the melanocytes interference..What do you think about it?
A
@ayax123I used a whitening line to lighten my acne scars not to lighten my skin color. I think it's all dependent on what you use it for.
ReplyDelete@Old Cow:) freckles are cute but good thing you got on the SPF finally
ReplyDelete@DoraI think #1 is also in asia
ReplyDeleteLike Faye Lu said, acne does affect your self esteem. I have been struggling with acne since high school (I'm 22 now) and it affected, and still do, my confidence a lot..Luckily, my acne problem is not as bad as before. But because I didn't consult a dermatologist, my skin got worse from trying diverse product, and now I have those ''open pores'' (dunno how we cal them)on my face, along with red scars, and uneven tone.. which is quite unattractive...For 5 months I have been taking Accutane. FYI, Accutane is, I believe, the last resort and strongest medication you can take for acne. They say after 5 month you are good to go and your skin becomes as new as someone who never had acne. If you are not lucky (like me), you will have to take another 5 months of those pills. I have to say it did helped me get a better skin..but not as much as I thought it would. I'm still on the go on trying new products.. lol sorry for the long comment, I felt inspired to share my story as I read the other's comment on your post! :)
ReplyDeleteI am currently trying one of the item from the Dior Snow skincare line. I must admit that the texture compared to regular skincare products is soothing and agreeable. Hopefully I might see some changes regarding the redness around my nose area or my acne scars!
Loved your review on youtube! Keep on posting great videos and such! :D
Try La Mer the concentrate. My old and new scars went away so quick! The new one by 2 nights, as I only use during night time when the cell repairs itself, otherwise it might have disappeared within a day hahaha...the old ones too approximately 2 weeks. It's worth a try, now my face is glowing!
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me if you are still using the Dior Snow and if so, did it help with your scarring, acne, etc? I just bought it and hoping it is going to work for me. Thanks.
