I braved the crazy snowstorm the day after Christmas to go shoe shopping at Bloomingdales. A few minutes inside the store and I find myself at the Chanel counter drooling at the Spring 2011 collection. Les Perles de Chanel feature lovely pinks and corals with speckles of gray. I swatched around for what seemed like hours and decided to bring home the limited edition Ombres Perles de Chanel quint ($68).
Ombres Perles de Chanel is a gorgeous shimmer palette. It looks almost too dark in the pan for the Spring season, but all that changes when applied. All the shadows have this high multi colored micro shimmer to them that makes them unique. I haven't seen anything quite like this and is admittedly smitten. The texture is buttery smooth, almost like cream, but not quite cream. Simply put, it's heavenly.

I love the colors of your eye shadow! Hahaha! I would brave a blizzard for shopping too. You must be on the NE, because I think we ran into the same storm. And yes, I was out and about the day after too.
