BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream Review, Swatches, Video

BB Creams are making a comeback onto my vanity table. Why? Because it's easy to apply and can be depended on for a natural look. If you're not familiar with BB creams I have a old video on it here.

Before you ask, yes, I'm wearing a football jersey. #10 Eli Manning in case you care. It's football season again and I love it. I digress...

BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream is a triple function BB cream with whitening, wrinkle repair, and "water replenishment functions". I'm not sure what the last function really means, maybe it maintains a certain level of moisture? Packaging is simple, a purple squeeze tube. It's $29 for 35g worth of product and can be found at the BRTC website.

This BB cream looks light and thin but feels rather creamy. It provides medium coverage and can take a few minutes to settle into your skin. The shade is a light nude with a hint of peach as opposed to the gray tint a lot of BB creams have.

It spreads and blends very easily leaving a natural finish.

Verdict
This is a good starter BB Cream. The peachy shade is actually ideal as it matches the skin tone better. You may appreciate this cream more if you're familiar with BB creams. It provides decent coverage without feeling too heavy. Like most BB creams it only comes in one shade and is rather pale (I'm NC15 at MAC). BB creams tend to be a little sticky in consistency and this one is no different, make sure you remove it properly or it can clog your pores. I haven't noticed any changes in my skin since I started using this cream a month ago so I can't speak for it's "triple function" properties.

I also made a video review for this :)

XOXO, M

  1. You look beautiful :) I love BB creams too... It is really easy to use in the morning :) I like how it has a peach undertone. I never noticed the gray before in other BB creams... but it makes sense. You look so fresh!

  5. Sounds like a good BB cream if this has peach tones in it and not too grayish. Great review. :)

  9. Someone else gave a rave review on this BB cream too *will have to take note* I agree that many BB creams give a rather unflattering white cast and sometimes a tad grey!
    PS. Your complexion looks amazing :]

  12. I have used several other BB cream brands and i love this BRTC jasmine water the most. i have been using this product for 4 months now, and i love it. I don't notice any difference but it doesn't break me out. its a thumbs up. I normally dust on some powder over the BB cream to set and not have that sticky feeling.

    jewels =P

  13. I started using this BB Cream since last summer and I do not regret buying it at all (: Before I started using it, I only used one other one and it wasn't that great since it didn't look natural. This one looks more natural, and it is definitely easy to apply. The reason I bought it was because of the whole water thing in the product. If you buy it in Asia (I was traveling in Hong Kong), it is quite cheap. I believe I got it for $12 or $15, and I ended up buying two (:
