My nails this week features a lesser known brand, Soo Nails, combined with my current favorite top coat Sephora OPI Only Gold For Me. The combo is like having gold dust on a Tiffany's box.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to locate the first Only Gold For Me that I had misplaced so I bought another over the weekend to get the Sephora swag bag. More on the swag bag later in the post.
I found Soo Nails at a local beauty supply store. It was only $2.99 so I figured why not. The shades don't have names, just number codes, this one I have on is #26. The color is beautiful, it reminds me of the Tiffany blue only more green. The formula is on the thick side and a bit streaky. On the upside, it dries quickly.

Here's a color comparison against a Tiffany pouch, it's pretty close but definitely more green.

Sephora had a VIB swag bag special over the weekend. I really wanted a Urban Decay Stardust sample but it wasn't in the packet I received. I got a set of the Bare Escentuals mineral kit with mini kabuki, Buxom lip gloss, a ton of Victor & Rolf samples, Anthony Skincare for men samples, and Boscia samples. The email mentioned that it was going to be seven 100 point samples but it was more like two for me. Diana (Mayaari) had posted a similar experience so I guess it wasn't just me.
I hope you're all having a good week so far. My terrible sleeping habit is catching up to me. I'm feeling tired all the time. The weekend can't come soon enough.
XOXO, M
cute combo!
ReplyDeletei need some glitter polish!! come follow me xoxo
ReplyDeletethat turquoise color is beautiful and ive been wanting to try the sephora glitter top coats!
ReplyDeletethat nail color is pretty close to the tiffany blue! I really wanted the UD shadow too, but I guess they were really limited in stores or something - it seems like a lot of girls got a makeshift swag bag that only had a few "big" items =T
ReplyDeletevery nice with the gold touch! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love that turqoise color.
ReplyDeleteDo you know some alternative brands that also have nail polish colors like this one? I think here in Germany one can't rly find Soo products =(
