A friend of mine was able to pick up some Korean skin care products for me while traveling there.
Laneige White Plus Renew Special Gift Set 2
I'm not 100% sure of the contents just yet
Banila Co. Let me Bebe, a bb cream
IOPE gift with purchase
Thank you! you know who you are
My parents brought back a Swarovski necklace from Austria...
I've always been a big fan of their swan logo.
Current Eye Cream
Paul and Joe Eye Treatment Cream, $36 for 20g
Thoughts: I've been using this cream for the past month and it hasn't done much for me. It has a slight creamy texture but doesn't give you that heavy feel when you apply it. It spreads easily and has the trademark Paul & Joe citrus scent. I have a troublesome under eye area, dark circles, dryness and puffiness and this cream didn't help with any of these problems. My hunt for a good eye cream continues.
Tried another sheet mask last night
The Face Shop Fresh Fruit Pomegranate sheet mask. See ingredients below
This mask is about $2-$3 at the face shop, a decent mask for the price but contains to much alcohol.
For some reason I really miss Asia right now, I use to never want to go. I was in Beijing last year around this time...

ReplyDeletelol The Face Shop Pomegranate one is the one I told you I feel asleep with in the bathtub! Try the Q10 one, I think it's nicer!

ReplyDeleteCome to Asia!! Come to Japan!!!!
What wonderful gifts!
did u ever try the kinerase eye cream?
ReplyDeleteHeyy, I like to browse around the beauty blog and learn more about skincare and of course, I do research on it. I'm not interested in making a blog anytime soon. I've bee using Clinique All About Eyes eye cream. It works miracles for me. It's a bit pricey but well worth it. :D Trust me, my dark circles are bad. From being a full time mother, student, and working. I'd say my age range is 19-25 and I have olive tone skin, and that's what I use and I'm faithfully using it twice a day! (morning, night). Hope I helped you.
ReplyDeleteI have the exactly troublesome under eye area as you and i am always on the hunt for good eye cream like you. I have tried millions of different eye cream such as vichy, biotherm, kiehl's, benefit, nivea, garnier eye roller, mioggi(korean brand), etc etc all this claimed that they can reduce under eye dark circles and puffiness. I find the kiehl's eye alert quite good and i am trying the benefit 'eyecon' at the moment. I haven't been use that for long, but will let you know how it goes in a little while. The Kiehl's eye alert is worth a try. But don't get the Kiehl's line reducing eye brightening concentrate, the price is nearly a double compare to the eye alert and its greasy plus i don't see any effect at all.
ReplyDeleteMona! you got just amazing products! Want all of them too...
ReplyDeleteLaneige got pretty good stuff!
ReplyDeleteCheck out their webby for product usage :http://www.laneige.com/product/prd_list.jsp?brandcd=214083

ReplyDeleteNice Korean haul!! I'm using the P&J Eye cream too, and I kinda have to agree with you, it doesn't really help with truly problematic undereyes 9_9 It's just like applying lotion... but I've been trying to finish it off before starting on something else, sigh. Oh nice, Beijing! That's awesome!

ReplyDeleteTry the Dr. Brandt R3P eye cream...I really recommend it. The Shiseido Brightening Eye treatment is also really good..I use it with the Dr. Brandt.
You're gonna love the Laneige and IOPE. Now I'm almost done with my Shiseido White Lucent Eye cream yet it didn't do anything for me. My quest for brightening eye cream continues as well. Please let me know when you find one! Nice blog!
